Through personal tragedy, C.A.R.E.S. (Community Awareness in Recognizing & Educating on Suicide) 
has banded together for the prevention of suicide.
 We are the parents, siblings, family members, friends, and members of the community with a voice.

 who are coping with any type of grief

  • All funds used to serve the community free of charge
  • 82 prevention training presentations to over 1,900 people
  • 27,430 students at 32 schools educated 
  • 4 Hope In Motion Golf Tournaments raising over $28,000
  • 7 Survivors Stepping Out Walks raising almost $66,000
  • 4 High School Challenges raising over $41,000
  • 72 clients, ages 4 - 68, granted financial assistance for therapy, psychological evaluation, treatment by medical health professionals, and prescription medication help
