What We Have Already Accomplished!
In 2009, CARES gave 11 presentations to over 150 people.
In 2010, CARES gave 30 presentations to over 550 people.
In 2011, CARES gave 22 presentations to over 600 people.
Mission: To educate the community, both professional and lay people, on how to recognize a crisis and refer appropriately for help.
Target Audience: Parents, friends, neighbors, teachers, ministers, doctors, nurses, students, colleges, office supervisors, squad leaders, foremen, police officers, advisors, caseworkers, firefighters; and many others who are strategically positioned to recognize and refer someone at risk of suicide.
