Ed was an amazing husband and father of two. He
earned his BA in Accounting at
SUNY Binghamton then went on to become a successful stock broker.
Ed was known as "the King of Wall Street" by many of his peers. He
enjoyed life, loved unconditionally and was there for whoever needed
him. He had an infectious smile and the most amazing blue eyes that
always lit up a room, when he entered you knew Eddie Powers was there.
His sense of humor would have you laughing for hours, he had a dream of
becoming a stand up comedian and even started writing down his jokes.
Ed loved us more than life itself. Everything he did was for us. He was
a great friend and touched the life of every person he met. I can't
begin to describe the pain, sorrow and emptiness in our hearts and I
long for the day we are together again.
